From a young age, I understood the importance of the human animal bond. Whether it was my own pet, an injured bird I found and nursed back to health, or a dog I worked with at an animal shelter, they all had a profound impact on my life.
I found every opportunity to surround myself with animals and to help them. During my high school years, I developed a love for anatomy, physiology, and medicine. This, coupled with my passion for not only helping animals, but people as well, led me on my pursuit to become a veterinarian.
Now as a veterinarian, my mission is to nurture the human animal bond. I recognize the strong relationships people have with their pets. My goal is to help my clients and their beloved pets live longer, healthier, happier lives together by providing them with quality medicine and ensuring they are always treated with compassion and respect. I also greatly treasure the long term relationships that I build with my clients as we work together to ensure their pet gets the best care possible.
I was born and raised in Westchester County, NY. I completed my bachelor's degree in animal and veterinary science at the University of Vermont and received my DVM degree from Cornell University. During veterinary school I spent some of my time working at Burnt Hills Veterinary Hospital. From the day I started, I fell in love with the "Burnt Hills Veterinary Hospital family", and the Burnt Hills community. I loved it so much that I decided to return to practice here.
When I am not working, you might find me hiking or running the local trails, or searching for the region's best restaurants. I love good food!
